Representatives from KP Youth Employment program participated in “Women Stakeholders’ Sustainability Conference” organized by TUSDEC. This conference was held in Shelton Rezidor, Peshawar from 11 AM – 3 PM on 13th February’17. Guest Speakers from different Businesses and Organizations of Peshawar shared their experiences and success stories to motivate Participants to start their own businesses and become empowered.

It is heart breaking to see the well educated and capable graduates of KP unemployed in the market. The graduates roam around for years but there are a lack of opportunities in the market. KPITB saw this and started the initiative of KP Youth Employment Program. This program enabled various graduates of KP to find online employment. One such graduate is Shayan Ali of DIKhan who could not find employment for 5 years after his graduation. KP-YEP helped Shayan Ali find online employment and get rid of the job worries.

KP-YEP: Linking the Pakistani Youth to International Job Markets

KP Youth Employment Program (KP YEP) by IT Board Khyber Pakhtunkhwa aims to connect the youth of KP to the job markets of the developed countries.

Pakistan, especially Khyber Pakhtunkhwa being a victim of war on terror, energy crises and unfavorable conditions for industrial growth is facing a big challenge in providing jobs to its youth. Several industrial policies were made in the past to do the job however; significant results were not achieved.
